Indian Origin Tanveer Sangha Picked In Australia Squad

Indian-source spinner Tanveer Sangha, 19, is among three uncapped players Australia have picked for their visit to New Zealand for a five-coordinate T20 arrangement beginning one month from now.

The other uncapped players are Sydney Sixers opener and gloveman Josh Philippe and Hobart Hurricanes speedster Riley Meredith.

Sangha completed the BBL ordinary season as the opposition's joint third-driving wicket-taker with 21 scalps at 16.66 and a great economy of 8.04 runs per over.

Tanveer's dad, Joga Sangha, hails from Rahimpur, a town 20km from Jalandhar. Joga moved to Australia in 1997 for training before in the long run settling down in the southwestern rural areas of Sydney. Joga Singh functions as a Taxi driver in Sydney, while Tanveer's mom fills in as a bookkeeper in Sydney.
