With cricket confronting an unsure future because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Australian pace initiate Pat Cummins might want to see the T20 World Cup at home being held over the rewarding IPL in which he would enter as the costliest outside purchase.

Cummins turned into the most costly outside purchase in the IPL at the closeout in December when Kolkata Knight Riders dished out an astounding Rs 15.50 crore for his administrations.

"The T20 World Cup is something we've spoken about for the best piece of a few years. The (ODI) World Cup in 2015, that was completely a profession feature for me and I wasn't in any event, playing in the last. I'd love to see that approval," Cummins was cited as saying by the 'Australian Associated Press'.

"That is most likely the enormous competition this year for universal cricket ... I'd love for that to occur ideally and if I somehow managed to be extremely voracious, I'd love for the IPL to occur too."

There is no conclusive word on the IPL yet after it was delayed to April 15. With corona virus cases proceeding to rise universally, it is improbable the money rich group will be sorted out at any point in the near future.
